How SecureYrHome works
Five steps from sign-up to a route your crew can follow, with the ground rules we hold ourselves and our members to.
- 1
Step 1 of 5
Join SecureYrHome
Pick the monthly plan that fits your business and create your account. From there you can search properties, look up owners, build lists, map your area and export to your CRM. Features differ by plan, so check the pricing page to see what each includes.
- 2
Step 2 of 5
Set your territory
Set the towns, zip codes and neighborhoods you actually serve on the map. A clear boundary keeps lists focused on homes your crews can reach without long drives, and it makes route planning for estimates, service visits and installs simpler later on.
- 3
Step 3 of 5
Layer the lists
Filter homes by details that matter to your trade, such as recent sales, home age, owner-occupancy and property type, then stack filters to narrow the results. Look up property and owner records for any home on the list, save the search and keep your criteria about properties, not people.
- 4
Step 4 of 5
Contact by the rules
Contact homeowners by mail, by phone using skip-traced details, or by SMS if your plan includes it. First confirm consent, check do-not-call lists and stay within telemarketing law, which differs by state. For door-to-door work, check each town's solicitation rules and pass by homes with "no soliciting" signs.
- 5
Step 5 of 5
Refresh and measure
Set saved lists to update automatically so new sales and ownership changes appear as records arrive, then export them to your CRM. Watch which lists turn into appointments and jobs, and adjust your filters based on your own results rather than guesswork.
Our ground rules
Plain commitments about records, consent and the limits of what data can tell you.
County data is uneven
Counties collect and release property information differently, and some update faster than others. We say that openly, so you can treat records as a guide, verify what matters and plan around gaps instead of being caught off guard.
Consent first
Having a phone number or address isn't permission to use it. Consent, do-not-call and telemarketing rules, along with local solicitation ordinances, come before any campaign, and they differ by state and city.
Final say stays with you
You choose the service area, the filters, the update schedule and what happens with each list. SecureYrHome provides records and tools; decisions about your business, your crews and your customers stay with you.
